Alright, so the game I really wanted to see was Sevilla versus Real Madrid. I had been looking forward to it for a long time, you know.

First off, I gotta check when it is. Turns out, it’s on Sunday, December 22nd, at 10:15 a.m. Eastern Time. And it’s happening at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid. That’s cool, I always like it when the game is at the Bernabeu.
Now, the next big question – where can I watch it? I did a bit of digging. For folks in the UK and Ireland, it looks like you can catch it on Premier Sports 2. I am not in the UK, so that’s not gonna work for me. If you are in the US, I saw something about the GXR World app.
But here’s the thing, I’m neither in the UK nor the US. So, I kept searching. Then I found something interesting, it seems like people in some major regions can watch this LaLiga match on Viaplay Sports. Well, unfortunately, I’m not in those regions either.
Trying out ESPN+
I heard about ESPN+ having a lot of soccer games. I thought, why not give it a shot? They say you can watch it on your computer, Apple and Android devices, Amazon Fire devices, Roku, Samsung Smart TV, and even on Chromecast, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. That’s a lot of options! I tried it on my computer first, and it worked just fine. Then I tested it on my phone, no problem there either. And just for fun, I connected it to my TV using Chromecast, smooth as butter.
Real Madrid TV?
I also stumbled upon something called Real Madrid TV. Apparently, it is a free digital TV channel run by Real Madrid. Sounds pretty neat, right? They have it in both Spanish and English. But, it seems like it’s more about the club itself, rather than live games. So, probably not where I can watch the match.
Disappointment in India
I also read that in India, the La Liga game between Real Madrid and Sevilla won’t be shown on TV. However, they have some live streaming options. But, you know, I am not in India, so that doesn’t really help me.
Here are the steps I tried:
- Checked the date and time: Sunday, December 22nd, 10:15 a.m. ET at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
- Looked for UK and Ireland options: Premier Sports 2.
- Explored the US option: GXR World app.
- Checked out Viaplay Sports for other regions.
- Tried ESPN+ on various devices.
- Learned about Real Madrid TV.
- Found out about the situation in India.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure trying to watch the Sevilla vs. Real Madrid game. I didn’t realize that there are so many different ways to watch it. Finally, I watched the game using ESPN+, and it worked pretty well for me. I also learned a thing or two about other streaming services. Not bad for a day’s work, eh?
