Alright, listen up, honey. You wanna know about this Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith thing? Well, lemme tell ya, it’s a whole lotta hootin’ and hollerin’ on that TV show, First Take, they call it. Don’t rightly know what all the fuss is about, but them two, they sure do love to yap at each other.
Now, from what I hear, Shannon, he used to be with somebody else, Skip Bayless or somethin’. They had their own show, Undisputed, it was called. Guess they couldn’t get along no more, so Shannon, he up and left. And where does he go? Right over to Stephen A.’s show! Can you believe it? It’s like tradin’ one loudmouth for another.
- Stephen A., he’s always yellin’ and pointin’ and makin’ faces. Makes my head spin just watchin’ him.
- And Shannon, well, he ain’t no quiet church mouse neither. He’s got plenty to say, that’s for sure.
I reckon ESPN, that’s the place where they do their yellin’, they figured puttin’ these two together would make for good TV. And maybe it does, I don’t know. People seem to like watchin’ folks argue, for some reason.
Now, Stephen A., he’s got his own show too, somethin’ about Stephen A. Smith Show. Busy fella, I guess. And he’s got these daughters, but he don’t talk about them much. Probably for the best, keep them out of all that ruckus.
And Shannon, he had a girlfriend, Katy somethin’. They been together a long time, or so they say. Went to some fancy breakfast together, all dressed up. Good for them.
First Take, they got this lady, Molly, she sits there and tries to keep them boys in line. Bless her heart. She even won some fancy award for her troubles. Must be like herdin’ cats tryin’ to manage them two.
They say Stephen A. didn’t think Shannon left his old show on his own. Thinks maybe somethin’ else happened. Who knows? These fellas, they always got somethin’ goin’ on. And now they’re supposed to work together? Well, that oughta be interestin’.
People are talkin’, sayin’ Stephen A. and Shannon are too bossy, think they know everything. Maybe so. But they sure do get folks riled up. And I guess that’s what the TV folks want, right?
Me, I don’t understand half of what they’re talkin’ about. Sports this and sports that. They get so worked up over a bunch of fellas throwin’ balls and runnin’ around. But hey, if it keeps them happy, who am I to judge?
Anyway, that’s the gist of it, honey. Shannon Sharpe, Stephen A. Smith, First Take, lots of yellin’ and arguin’. Just another day on the TV, far as I can tell. Now, where’s my cup of tea? My throat’s dry from all this talkin’.
