Alright, alright, let me tell you about this fella, Stefan Schauffele. Don’t know him? Well, neither did I, but I heard some things, you know, from the TV and such.
Who is this Stefan Schauffele anyway?
Seems like he’s a big deal, kinda. This Stefan, he’s the daddy of that golfer, that Xander fella. You know, the one who hits the little white ball real far? Yeah, that one. Stefan, he used to be one of them athlete fellas, throwing things and running around, a deca… deca… something or other. A German fella, at that.
Now, Stefan, he ain’t just sittin’ around watchin’ his boy play golf. He’s teachin’ him! But not like them regular golf teachers, no sir. He’s teachin’ him how to swing that club like he’s throwin’ one of them javelin things. You know, like they do in the Olympics? Guess it works, seein’ as how Xander wins them golf games.
Stefan’s a tough cookie, I tell ya.
This man, he missed his boy winnin’ a big golf game, a real big one! Why? Cause he was busy buildin’ a house, a big ol’ house in Hawaii. And get this, he was sleepin’ in a metal box, like one of them things they put on ships! Can you believe it? A big shot like him, sleepin’ in a box.
- He used to be a decathlete, whatever that is.
- He teaches his son golf in a weird way.
- He missed his son’s big win ’cause he was busy with a house.
- He slept in a shipping container. Like, a metal box!
But listen here, this Stefan, he ain’t all tough and muscle. He cares about his boy, see? That Xander fella, he won one of them Olympic gold medals, the shiny ones. And guess what? He wants another one! Why? To make his daddy proud, that’s why. To stay close to him, even though they are already close, you know what I mean?
So, what’s the big deal about Stefan?
Well, he’s a daddy, a teacher, and a builder, all rolled into one. He ain’t your average Joe, that’s for sure. He’s got his own way of doin’ things, and it seems to work for him and his boy. I reckon he’s proud of Xander, and Xander’s proud of him. It’s that simple, you see. Family’s important, even if you’re throwin’ javelins or hittin’ golf balls.
And this whole golf thing with the throwin’ stuff…
It sounds plumb crazy, don’t it? But Stefan, he sees things different. He takes that throwin’ power and puts it in the golf swing. Must be somethin’ to it, seein’ as how Xander’s so good. It ain’t just about hittin’ the ball, it’s about puttin’ your whole body into it, like you’re throwin’ somethin’ real far.
Now, that house in Hawaii…
That’s a whole ‘nother story. A big fancy house, I bet. And Stefan, he’s right there, makin’ sure it’s done right. Even if it means sleepin’ in a metal box. That’s dedication, I tell ya. He ain’t afraid of hard work, that one. And he’s doin’ it for his family, see? That’s what matters.
So, there you have it.
Stefan Schauffele, a man who throws things, teaches golf, builds houses, and loves his boy. A bit of a different fella, but ain’t we all different in our own ways? He’s made his mark, that’s for sure. And who knows, maybe we’ll see that Xander fella winnin’ more of them golf games, all thanks to his daddy’s strange way of teachin’. Or maybe we’ll see Stefan buildin’ another house, sleepin’ in another box. Either way, it’ll be somethin’ to talk about.
