Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this Jade banner release thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride.
First off, I started digging around to figure out when this thing was even going live. Turns out, Jade has been kind of working in the background for a while now. But the big 5.3 release? That was the one I was waiting for. I heard some gossip about the date and time, along with some new and returning characters. There’s this talk about new characters like Feixiao, Robin, Kafka, and Black Swan in the first phase, and then Lingsha and Topaz in the second. Apparently, Feixiao is some five-star Wind character, and a hunter with strong single-target damage. Sounds cool, right?
Then, I started looking into the actual release date. It seems like the Honkai Star Rail 1.4 was set for Wednesday, October 11th. They usually do maintenance and then drop it at 4 am BST. But, because of time zones, it actually hit the US on Tuesday, October 10th, at 11 pm EDT. Weird, I know.
Waiting Game
Normally, the developer team, HoYoverse, doesn’t take longer than five hours for maintenance. So, if everything goes smoothly, the update 2.5 should have been ready around:
- September 9, 8pm PT.
- September 9, 10pm CT.
I set my alarm and everything. I was so ready to jump in as soon as it dropped. The hype was real, let me tell you.
The Launch
So, the time finally came. I was refreshing the page like crazy. And then, boom! It was live. I dove right in, ready to explore all the new stuff, check out the new characters, and see what this Jade banner was all about.
Exploring the Update
First thing I did? I checked out Feixiao. Man, this character is a beast! The single-target damage is insane. I spent hours just playing around, testing out different strategies and all that. It’s always fun to see how these new characters change the game.
Wrapping Up
All in all, this Jade banner release was a blast. I got to explore a bunch of new content, try out some awesome new characters, and just generally geek out over the game. It’s moments like these that make all the waiting and anticipation worth it. I just played and had a good time, you know? It was a good day.
