Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole “Road to CFP NCAA 25” thing, and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride. First off, I grabbed my laptop and started looking into what this actually was.
What is Road to CFP NCAA 25
Turns out, it’s a new game mode in the upcoming EA Sports College Football 25 game. I watched a bunch of videos, read some articles, basically soaked up whatever information I could find.
Basically, this mode is all about taking a created coach through the ranks of college football. You start small, maybe at a Group of Five school, and try to work your way up to the big leagues.
- Create a coach: I spent a good hour just messing with the coach creation tool. You can tweak everything, from their appearance to their coaching philosophy. It’s pretty detailed.
- Pick a school: Then came time to choose where to start my coaching career. I decided to go with a smaller program to make it more challenging.
- Recruit, recruit, recruit: I found out quickly that recruiting is a huge part of this mode. You have to scout players, make calls, offer scholarships. It’s like a whole other game within the game.
- Play the games: Obviously, you also have to play the actual football games. I won some, I lost some. It’s tough, but that’s what makes it fun, I guess.
- Climb the ladder: The goal is to get your team to the College Football Playoff. I’m still working on that part. I managed to improve my team’s ranking, but it’s a long way to the top.
So far, I’m really enjoying this Road to CFP mode. It’s got that addictive quality where you just want to keep playing to see how far you can go. It’s definitely not easy, but that’s part of the appeal. I’m planning to keep grinding away at it, hoping to eventually make it to the big time. We’ll see what happens!
