Alright, listen up, y’all. Let me tell ya ’bout this here Big Noon Kickoff thing. It’s a big to-do, ya know? Like a big ol’ party before them football games.
They say it’s the best pregame party in all of college football. I ain’t seen ’em all, but I reckon they know what they’re talkin’ about. They go all over the country, to the biggest and loudest college places.
So, what happens at this Big Noon Kickoff? Well, they got this fella, Rob Stone, he’s the main talker. And then they got these other fellas, Mark Ingram, Matt Leinart, Urban Meyer, and Brady Quinn. They all played football, so they know a thing or two. They talk about the games, tell ya who’s gonna win, who’s gonna lose. You know, the usual.
- Rob Stone – The main guy, does the talkin’.
- Mark Ingram, Matt Leinart, Urban Meyer, Brady Quinn – They used to play ball, now they tell us about it.
Now, they don’t just sit in some studio. They go to the college campuses, right where the action is. Like, one time they went to Orlando, Florida. That’s where the UCF Knights play. They were playin’ against the Colorado Buffaloes. Folks were real excited about that game.
Another time, they went up to Madison, Wisconsin. That’s where the Wisconsin Badgers play. Camp Randall Stadium, they call it. Big place, lots of noise. They were playin’ against some team from the SEC. Them SEC fellas are tough, lemme tell ya.
And just this past week, they were in Columbus, Ohio. That’s where the Ohio State Buckeyes play. Big ol’ stadium they got there, Ohio Stadium. Everyone was wearin’ red and gray. Looked like a sea of color.
This Big Noon Kickoff, it ain’t just about football, though. It’s about the whole shebang. The fans, the cheerleaders, the bands, the food. It’s a whole experience. You get there early, you tailgate, you eat some barbeque, you drink some sweet tea, you talk to your neighbors. It’s a good time.
And then, when it’s almost game time, they start gettin’ serious. They talk about the players, the coaches, the plays. They get you all hyped up. And then, boom, it’s kickoff time. The crowd goes wild, the players run out on the field, and it’s on.
So, if you ever get a chance to go to a Big Noon Kickoff, I say go for it. It’s a hoot. You’ll see some good football, meet some good people, and have a good time. Just make sure you wear your team’s colors and bring your yellin’ voice. You’re gonna need it.
They’re always movin’ around, these Big Noon Kickoff fellas. One week they might be in Florida, the next week they might be in Wisconsin, and the week after that they might be in Ohio. You gotta keep an eye on ’em, see where they’re gonna be next. But one thing’s for sure, wherever they go, it’s gonna be a big deal.
I tell ya, football is a big thing in this country. Folks get real passionate about it. And this Big Noon Kickoff, it just adds to the excitement. It gets everyone fired up, ready for some football. It’s a good thing, I reckon. Brings folks together, gives ’em somethin’ to cheer about.
So next time you hear about the Big Noon Kickoff, remember what I told ya. It’s a big party, with lots of talkin’, lots of food, and lots of football. And it’s comin’ to a college town near you, sooner or later.
And that’s all I gotta say about that there Big Noon Kickoff. Hope you learned somethin’. Now, go on and get yourself somethin’ to eat. All this talk about football’s made me hungry.
