So, I had this idea the other day. You know Mr. McMahon, right? That walk he does? Yeah, the one where he looks like he owns the place and maybe just won the lottery. I saw a clip of it again and thought, “How hard can that actually be?” Looked kinda fun, in a weird way.

Getting Started – Watching the Tapes
First thing, I pulled up some videos. Had to really watch him. It’s not just walking, is it? It’s a whole performance.
- The Arms: They swing like crazy, really loose but with purpose, almost like they’re pulling him forward.
- The Chest: Puffed way out. Like, peacock level stuff.
- The Strut: Knees come up a bit, steps are long, got this bounce to it.
- The Face: That intense, slightly mad look. Important detail.
Looked simple enough broken down like that. Famous last words, right?
Time to Practice – The Actual Attempt
Okay, so I cleared some space in my living room. Didn’t want to knock anything over with those wild arms. First, I just tried the arm swing while standing still. Felt pretty stupid, not gonna lie. My arms just felt like floppy noodles, not powerful.
Then, I tried the strut without the arms. Just focusing on the leg movement and the chest out. Managed to walk across the room, felt a bit stiff. Like I was trying too hard to look tall. My dog just stared at me, probably wondering what was wrong.
Putting it together was the real challenge. Trying to swing the arms like that AND do the strut? Coordination went right out the window. I nearly tripped myself up first couple of tries. It’s way faster and more aggressive than it looks on TV. You gotta commit to the whole ridiculous motion.
I did a few lengths of the room. Started to get a bit of a rhythm. The key, I think, is not thinking too much. Just gotta let go and embrace the swagger. Tried the facial expression too, puffing my cheeks out a bit, looking intense. Probably just looked constipated, but hey, I was trying.
So, How’d It Go?
Did I nail it? Nah, probably not perfectly. It’s surprisingly tiring! Swinging your arms that much uses muscles you don’t normally think about. And keeping that posture? Takes effort.
But I kinda get it now. It’s meant to be over the top. It’s pure confidence projected outwards, even if it looks kinda silly up close when some regular guy like me tries it in his living room. It definitely makes you feel… something. Maybe a bit ridiculous, but also kinda powerful for a second.

It was a fun little experiment. Gave me a laugh, anyway. Respect to the man, that walk is his signature for a reason. Takes practice. Or maybe just a whole lot of nerve.
