Not only did he take the team to four bowl games, but he also showed folks that if you trust in Willie Fritz, good things are bound to happen.
Now, if you thought he was done climbin’ the ladder, you’d be wrong! In 2024, after all them years of hard work and success, he made his way to the University of Houston, where he became the head coach. That’s a big ol’ step up for him, and I reckon the folks over there are mighty glad to have him.
