Hey guys, I’m back again. I’ve been messing around with this new character, Yunli, in Honkai: Star Rail. You know, as always, I like to dig into these things and figure out the best way to use these characters. So, I spent a good chunk of my time experimenting with different setups and I wanted to share my experiences with you all.
First off, I started by checking out Yunli’s abilities. She’s a Physical type and follows the Path of Destruction, which sounds pretty cool, right? Seems like she’s meant to deal a lot of damage, so I was pumped to see what she could do.
Getting into the Game
- I jumped into the game and started leveling up Yunli. Man, her ability “Parry” is something else. It taunts enemies, making them attack her, and that’s when she can unleash her counterattacks.
- I noticed something interesting about her Ultimate. It turns out Yunli’s got a double energy bar. Her maximum energy is 240, but each Ultimate only costs 120. I guess that means she can potentially use her Ultimate more frequently if I manage her energy right.
Experimenting with Gear
Now, onto the gear. After digging around and doing some tests, here’s what I found:
- Relics: This was a bit of a journey. I tried out a bunch of different sets, but the one that really stood out was “The Wind-Soaring Valorous.” This set boosts her attack and crit rate, plus it gives a massive damage boost to her Ultimate after using a follow-up attack. Since Yunli’s counterattacks count as follow-ups, this set seemed like a perfect match.
- Team Comps: I messed around with a few different team setups. I found that Robin works pretty well with her. And if you need a healer, Huo Huo’s great, especially if you have Yunli’s first Eidolon. For the third spot, you can slot in Tingyun, Jade, or even Topaz. Each one adds something different to the team, so it’s fun to experiment.
Final Thoughts
So, after all this, what do I think of Yunli? Honestly, she’s a blast to play. She hits hard, especially with the right setup. If you manage to get her, I definitely recommend trying out the “Wind-Soaring Valorous” set and pairing her with Robin and Huo Huo. It’s a solid combo that’s been working really well for me.
That’s it for my Yunli experiments for now. Let me know if you guys have found any other cool setups or if you have any questions. I’m always up for trying new things and seeing what works best. Happy gaming, everyone!
